Prize

A startup support fund grant of AED 1 Million, will be awarded by Mr Essam Al Tamimi Founder & Chairman of Al Tamimi & Company for the winning projects, the fund will be allocated for developing the projects' business models, prototypes, consultation & mentorship, incubators, and for covering all the new project establishment fees during the Ecopreneurship development program of 2024.

How to
Participate?

  • 1
    Form a team of up to five dedicated members who are driven to create an impact on sustainability.
    2
    Prepare a video and executive summary of your project based on the provided guidelines and submit your entry by 21st November 2023.

    Criteria:

    Keep the video duration under 60 seconds

    Ensure that the video is uploaded as a single file in the highest possible quality

    Clearly depict inadequate lighting if applicable

    You may incorporate sound effects as needed

    Do not include any copyrighted material unless you have obtained authorisation from the author

    Guidelines:

    Present a concise student biography, including your name, age, university affiliation, and your areas of passion

    Provide a clear and concise overview of your project idea

    Emphasise the key distinguishing features of your idea

    Define your target audience and articulate the value your project offers to them

    Wait for the shortlist to be announced on 28th November 2023.

    The eligible shortlisted will present their elevator Pitch at COP 28.
    5
    The winning projects will be announced at the higher education conference 8th February 2024.

Eligibility

Every student presently enrolled in accredited universities in the UAE, whether pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies, is qualified to take part in the opportunity. Form a team of up to five members and register to secure your spot in the competition.
